Leather Care

With little ones going on adventures in their Humble Soles, comes wear on the leather sandals or boots!  We have created two options below for restoring your leather sandals or boots and to bring back alive the stories they tell!

How to clean and condition:

Leather Conditioning Shinola

You need: 2 cloth/rags, water, conditioner

1. Slightly wet your cloth.  Your goal is not for the leather to become wet, but to clean over the leather with the cloth/rag.

2. Wipe the sandal or boot with the damp cloth.

3. Use the dry cloth and dip the cloth into the conditioner.

Think less is best!

4. Rub the leather conditioner into the sandal or boots.

You will begin to notice that the leather will become darker.  This will fade in about a week.

The more conditioner you put, the darker the leather will become.

5.  Let the sandals or boots sit in the sun for drying.
